UCL History is delighted to announce that Fleur Elkerton's undergraduate Special Subject dissertation has won an award from the Design History Society, which works internationally to promote and support the study and understanding of design history.

Awarded as part of the June 2019 round, the title of Fleur's dissertation was "Staging, Stitching and Sensing: A Comparison of Medieval English Passion Narratives in Mystery Plays and Opus Anglicanum Embroidery" and was supervised by Dr Sophie Page.

Since completing her dissertation earlier this year, Fleur has graduated with a BA in History from UCL, and has just begun the V&A/RCA History of Design MA which she won a scholarship for, and is really enjoying!
