UCL at Here East

Who we are

UCL's space at Here East will see architects, engineers, computer scientists, mathematicians, anthropologists – and more – working side by side, mixing with nearby entrepreneurs and performers.

Students at work
They’ll work in partnership with local people, not just through lectures and events, but also through our mobile laboratory, where members of the public will help us carry out research.

The site will be a catalyst for new conversations and new ways of thinking: a place where different communities can educate and inspire one another.

Our departments

Our space will be shared between the following academic groups - follow the links to find out more about each department:

UK Centre for Moisture

Here East's UCL section will also be home to the UK Centre for Moisture in Buildings (UKCMB) - an organisation established to break barriers between research, teaching and engagement with industry. The UKCMB is an independent, not for profit, public good organisation run by UCL - visit the UK Centre for Moisture in Buildings website for more details.

Transforming UCL

Here East is part of Transforming UCL - the largest capital programme in UCL’s history. For more information visit the Transforming UCL website.
