IGH call for evidence: review of participatory tools to prevent gender based violence

12 May 2017

A new review is looking into methodologies used to engage communities in preventing gender-based violence against women and girls

UCL's Institute of Global Health in partnership with the NGO DB Peru is working on a new project to prevent gender-based violence (GBV) in the Peruvian Amazon funded by the Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) and World Bank Group.

As part of the project, IGH is undertaking an international review of evidence relating to participatory methodologies used to engage communities in preventing gender-based violence against women and girls.

IGH would very much like to receive information about documents and/or related materials on participatory work in research or consultation on gender-based violence on women and girls (or related subjects).

To share examples of work or if you have any further questions about this call for evidence, please contact Nicole Minckas.
