HIV Synthesis Model

Modelling and cost effectiveness analysis to inform response to high levels of HIV drug resistance in sub-Saharan Africa, including deployment of new drug regimens

Project Summary 

Individual based model of HIV to inform policy decisions around HIV programmes in sub Saharan Africa.

Examples include, PrEP, male circumcision, HIV (self)-testing, choice of treatment regimens accounting for drug resistance, monitoring, potential vaccine and cure.

The HIV Synthesis Modelling Group contributes to joint modelling facilitated by the HIV Modelling Consortium (HIV Modelling | HIV Modelling (hivmodeling.org))
