Professor Kishwar Azad

Dr. Kishwar Azad is a senior paediatrician, who after undergraduate studies at Dhaka Medical College and Oxford University Medical School, trained in paediatrics at Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research, Dhaka. Under Sir KGMM Alberti and Dr M Parkin, she developed expertise in diabetes and endocrinology. Her main interests are neonatal and maternal health, and diabetes in childhood and adolescence. She is involved in research aimed at creating low cost innovative solutions to improve neonatal and maternal health with Prof. Anthony Costello, Director of Institute of Global Health, UCL, London.
