Ana Claudia Suriani da Silva – SELCS
The SELCS Brazilian Translation Club is a series of workshops in which translators, writers, students, researchers and enthusiasts of Brazilian literature meet to discuss the translation of Brazilian literature.
This workshop is an extracurricular activity of the University of Sheffield and UCL undergraduate programmes in Portuguese and is organised by Ana Cláudia Suriani da Silva (UCL), Carmen Ramos Villar (Sheffield) and graphic designer Erika Pacheco. It is sponsored by the Anglo-Portuguese Society and the Association of British and Irish Lusitanists.
Anyone who translates from and into Portuguese, or has some knowledge of Portuguese is welcome.
The workshop is open to the general public and is taking place online via Zoom on 15 March 2023 at 19:15 (GMT), 16:15 (Brasilia). Please sign up for the event via Eventbrite, and you will be sent the workshop materials and an invitation to join the meeting.
