The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Team manages a number of UCL EDI email networks and groups, this page informs you of them, and how to join or unsubscribe from the mailing list.
The groups are as follows:
- Departmental Equality Opportunities Liaison Officer's email network
- Race Equality Steering Group
- LGBTQ+ Equality Advisory Group
- Friends of Out@UCL
- SWAN Leads
- UCL Women
- Parents and Carers Together Network
- Disability Self-Assessment Team
- 50:50 Equality Group
Each email network contains a list of members that only the EDI Team had access to. This list will not be shared with others outside of HR. Within HR, membership details may be shared with the HR Reporting Team in order to aid with equal opportunities monitoring.
Email networks and groups will only receive information relevant to that particular network/group. This will include items such as news articles, policy updates, guidance materials, events and training information and calls for speakers. Some of the Chairs of particular networks will create and distribute newsletters to their network. When members or other UCL colleagues post directly to lists, the EDI team will endeavour to moderate these emails, to ensure the content is relevant to the group.
The EDI newsletter, created for DEOLOs, will be distributed via the DEOLO mailing list with the intention that DEOLOs will circulate it within their departments as part of UCL's normal staff communications. If you would like to opt in to receive a direct copy of the newsletter, please email email@example.com.
Each individual has the right to leave a network at any time to stop receiving information. To do this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, stating which group you would like to be removed from.
Alternatively, you can search for the mailing list and enter your email address under the 'Subscribers' section to unsubscribe.
