UCL International Disability Research Centre

The Centre is dedicated to generating a body of knowledge about disability issues that helps to improve the lives of people with disabilities, their families and their communities around the world. It was previously known as the Leonard Cheshire Research Centre. The Centre, based at University College London (UCL), was established in 1996 and focuses on global disability and development issues, undertaking research, publication, consultation and teaching.
