As San Francisco becomes the first US city to ban e-cigarettes, Dr Lion Shahab (UCL Epidemiology & Health Care) explains that vaping is relatively harmless compared to smoking and that it reduces smokers’ exposure to the toxins and carcinogens related to smoking by 95%.
