Title of PhD:

The relationship between the social determinants of health and adverse childhood experiences - the value of linked data

Project Summary:

This research will investigate the social determinants of ACEs and the harm from them. Through doing this, it will assess the value of linked council administration data and EHR to understand the relationship between ACEs, an individual’s wider social context, health care utilisation, health outcomes and childhood outcomes.

 

Background 

 

Kathryn is a part-time PhD student within DAHR and is a Senior Analytical Manager at the Health Foundation where she is leading an analytical team using linked datasets across to produce insights on critical areas of population health and health care.
