Adverse childhood experiences and mental health

Policy brief investigating the relationship between adverse experiences in childhood (ACEs) and mental health spanning from childhood to middle age.

ICLS researchers Rebecca Lacey and Dawid Gondek have produced a policy brief as part of an ESRC funded research project investigating the links between adverse childhood experiences and later life health. 

The brief was produced as part of end of award activities and in tandem with an event for policy makers and practitioners at which some of the project findings were shared and the role of ACEs in policymaking and practice were discussed.
