The annual Visiting Fellow gives two lectures in the academic year
Olivia Laing is the author of To the River, The Trip to Echo Spring and The Lonely City, which has been translated into 16 languages. In 2018 she was awarded the Windham-Campbell Prize for non-fiction. Her real-time novel Crudo won the 2019 James Tait Black Memorial Prize.
Novelist, poet, essayist, literary critic, editor, singer and music composer. He is Professsor of Contemporary Literature at the University of East Anglia and an inaugural fellow at the Columbia Institute of Ideas and Imagination in Paris.
