People are at the heart of engineering, both the people who are engineers and the people who are looking for the amazing, innovative, thoughtful solutions that engineers provide. 

To get to the best solutions for societies around the world - and the planet - we need engineers to collaborate and work with people from many different backgrounds and experiences. 

Engineering education of course is vital; it is even more vital that it is provided to diverse groups of people. Gender Equality and Athena Swan at EEE
In 2019, EEE were awarded the Bronze Athena Award for our on-going committment to advancing gender equality in the workplace. Since then, we continue to work actively and tirelessly to promote this, at the same time as extending our actions to other protected characteristics.
