EEE students showcase their innovative research
28 March 2022
UCL Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE) third year Undergraduate students showcased their research to peers and academics.
The event is the culmination of the project work that the students have been doing during their third year. All third year students undertake an individual project (30 credits which is a quarter of their third year study), some of which are related to research in the department, others are suggested by students and supervised by an academic with interests in that area.
The projects ranged from investigating methods to detecting ash clouds from volcanos, wearable electronics for fashion designs, data processing to identify hidden features in old master works of art, novel optical modulators for communication systems, robotics`.
The students' work was received extremely well and as a Department we are pleased to have made use of the new undergraduate laboratory to allow students to present and demonstrate what they have built.
