This event is bookable by UCL Electronic and Electrical Engineering PhD students only.

We have invited a range of organisations that hire graduates from EEE research degrees and will feature talks from organisations across different industry sectors.

These include:

  • BBC (Research & Development)
  • European Space Agency
  • Microsoft Research
  • Reddie & Grose

Each company will give a presentation, focusing on post-graduate careers, and discuss opportunities, skills required, avenues for progression, and much more.

This will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.

This event will offer a fabulous opportunity for you to ask all those pressing post-graduate questions about careers. How much could you get paid? Will you be treated like any ther graduate? Do PhD graduates get more money? Is the work interesting? What skills should I be presenting at an interview? What are recruiters looking for? Can I get a job in a technical area different to my PhD?... and many more.

Places are limited so register now!

Morning refreshments included.
