Professor Imran Rasul announced as European Economic Association (EEA) Vice-President

UCL Economist, Imran Rasul has been appointed at the next Vice-President (President-Elect in 2025, and President in 2026) for the European Economic Association (EEA).

Imran is a Professor in the Department of Economics at University College London, the Director of ESRC Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy (CPP) at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), Co-director for the James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Centre on Wealth Concentration, Inequality and the Economy at UCL Economics and Co-president at the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD).

The European Economic Association (EEA) is an International scientific body, with membership open to all persons involved or interested in economics, that promotes the development of economic science throughout Europe, as well as communication between educators, researchers and students, the links between university and research centres and relations between academic economists and policy-makers.
