Studied Conservative Dentistry MSc
In 2014 I started the part time MSc in Restorative Dental Practice at 123 Grays Inn. I quickly realised how much theoretical and practical knowledge and experience I needed to obtain and learn, however all the lecturers at the Institute passed their passion for dentistry onto me, and this encouraged me to make the decision to apply for the full time course, which would allow me to dedicate more time and focus purely on completing the MSc in Conservative Dentistry and have access to the resources and expertise at the Eastman whenever required.
The thing I liked the most about UCL Eastman was the amazing team of teachers and supervisors in the Hospital and in the laboratory. Without their collaboration and support it would not have been possible to learn and understand all the information given during the year. It was also great to deal with complex cases at the hospital that you don’t normally get to experience within the clinic and to understand how to effectively treat those cases from the beginning to the end.
Successfully completing an MSc at the Institute has helped me to obtain an excellent job straight away in a well-establish private dental practice where I can provide a high-quality dentistry to my patients by using all the new skills learnt during my time at the Eastman.
