Best restorative dentistry student 2021: certificate year
9 December 2021
Congratulations to Restorative Dentistry student Noor Kamourieh, who has been awarded this year’s Prestige Dental Prize.
Congratulations to Restorative Dentistry student Noor Kamourieh, who has been awarded this year’s Prestige Dental Prize.
The annual award is given to the best performing student on the Certificate stage of our Restorative Dental Practice MSc and was awarded via a virtual prize giving. Noor won a Denar Mark 2 articulator provided by sponsor Prestige Dental.
“She has demonstrated an excellent clinical and academic skill set and this prize is thoroughly deserved, well done Noor.”
The MSc in Restorative Dental Practice is a part-time, three year programme that enhances students’ ability to provide high-quality and comprehensive restorative management for the majority of patients.
Students on the Certificate stage of the programme attend for a year whilst still working in practice. They are taught about new materials and evidence-based techniques by highly-recognised specialists.
This year the course was adeptly adapted, offering comprehensive blended learning with essential hands-on skills teaching delivered via socially-distanced face-to-face sessions. We now look forward to meeting the next Certificate class in January 2022 and welcoming back Noor and many of her classmates to the Diploma stage.
