Chinese orthodontists join us for a masterclass

Earlier this month we were delighted to welcome ten orthodontists from China for a five-day Orthodontics Masterclass, run in collaboration with the China Britain Medical Dental Association (CBMDA). 

The busy week included a wide range of topics, with participants particularly enthusiastic to learn about invisible appliances and sleep disorders.

CBMDA, run by Dr Ray Zhang and Professor Stephen Dunne, is dedicated to providing high-quality dental CPD for Chinese dentists.

Head of UCL Eastman CPD, Professor Albert Leung, said: “It was great to welcome our second masterclass run in collaboration with CBMDA. 

“The orthodontists received a first-class CPD experience with excellent teaching, as well as having the opportunity to visit and experience London. 

“We look forward to welcoming more groups of Chinese dentists for future Masterclasses.”

The Masterclass was kindly sponsored by American Orthodontics, KLS Martin, and S4S Dental and included teaching by Dr Fiona Ryan, Dr Angela Auluck, Dr Raman Aulakh, Dr Pratik Sharma, Dr Ama Johal and Professor Padhraig Fleming.
