New friends: Chinese dentists join us for aesthetic implantology course

Earlier this week, we were delighted to welcome over 40 dentists from Best Care Dental College, Beijing, who attended a two-day Aesthetic Implantology and Sinus Lift course.

This visit, organised as part of our ongoing collaboration with the Merimna Institute, was an exciting opportunity for our visitors to see the quality and expertise on offer at UCL Eastman.

Dr Konstantina Dina Dedi and Dr Thanos  Stratos led lectures on aesthetic implant considerations and digital workflow the first day; with Dr Francesco D’aiuto performing live surgery demonstrating sinus lift, GBR and simultaneous implant placement.

On day two Dr Dev Patel and our Implant Team led lectures and a hands-on session of sinus lift and implant placement in groups. Dr. Chamis presented on Osseodensification.

UCL Eastman and Merimna each run a range of CPD courses and over many years our collaboration has allowed us to provide training and share our expertise with a wide range of dentists and dental care professionals.
