Introducing our new blended-learning Dental Hygiene MSc
25 September 2017
We will shortly begin accepting applications for our exciting new MSc in Dental Hygiene - designed to equip graduates with an enhanced understanding of oral disease across diverse patient profiles.
It will enable participants to make evidence-based assessments and apply them to clinical decision making using state-of-the-art techniques.
The flexible programme, which has multiple exit points*, will mostly be delivered online with on-site training once or twice a year.
Programme Organisers' said:“This Programme will serve to help practicing dental hygienists advance along a continuum of professionalisation that includes further in-depth understanding of the theoretical, physiological and pathological aspects of oral disease management.
“Furthermore, it will serve to enhance their level of professional confidence and leadership skills through group project work, encouraging teamwork and management skills.”
“This in turn will equip them to consider alternate employment settings such as allied healthcare management or teaching posts.”
*Graduates may exit the Programme with either a Certificate (after one year), a Diploma (after two years) or the MSc (after three years).
Applications are due to open in February 2018; Keep an eye on our Study section or follow us on Twitter for further updates.
