Professor Ian Needleman becomes President of the British Society of Periodontology

We are delighted to congratulate Professor Ian Needleman on becoming the new President of the British Society of Periodontology for 2017.

As part of his priorities for the year Prof. Needleman will launch a Patient Forum to give patients a voice in shaping the future of periodontal health and a leadership development programme for the Society’s Early Career group.

He will also coordinate the BSP annual conference will take place 21-23 June at the beautiful venue of Kings Place, close to UCL Eastman. 

The theme is Performance! focusing on inspiring delegates to go beyond their limits.

The exciting line-up of speakers includes world-leading experts in digital medicine, behaviour change, surgery and implants as well as Baroness Tanni Grey-Thomson DBE Paralympian and Crossbench Peer and Dr Dan Martin OBE from the UCL Extreme Everest project.

We wish Ian the very best for his presidential year.
