Eastman International Alliance Grand Rounds

UCL Eastman maintains a close relationship with its sister institutions in New York, Rome and Stockholm, all of which were originally established by American Philanthropist, George Eastman.

We are linked together via the Eastman International Alliance (EIA), established to address global problems related to oral health and to collaborate in education, clinical care, research and knowledge exchange.

Since 2019 colleagues from all four institutions have been co-hosting virtual Grand Rounds; highly-popular webinars on pertinent and challenging aspects of oral health care. 

UCL Eastman Director, Professor Porter, said: “We have highly talented colleagues who manage patients with complex diseases, and events like these will enhance the knowledge and skills of students and staff who will then be able to enhance the oral health and well-being of patients.”
