Eastman Dental Hospital

The Institute enjoys a close and mutually beneficial relationship with the UCLH Eastman Dental Hospital, part of University College Hospital NHS Trust.

In October 2019 the Hospital relocated to Huntley Street in the heart of Bloomsbury. It is part of the largest hospital in Europe specialising in complex oral health care and advanced ear, nose and throat treatments. The Institute is located in UCL's Rockefeller Building nearby in order to ensure our students, researchers and academics continue to have exceptional opportunities for education and research.

Being very closely located, students have easy access to clinical facilities for the delivery of patient care and the clinical components of their postgraduate programmes. In many instances these components make up over 50% of the teaching modules, with training supported by highly-experienced NHS hospital consultants. Many programmes also enjoy attendance at inter-disciplinary clinics enabling comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
