The meeting will be led by Eve Houghton, a visiting PhD student in the Department of English Language and Literature, who is currently working on a thesis on early modern awkwardness at Yale.
Early Modern English Reading Group (EMERG) warmly invites all staff and students with an interest in the literature and history of the Renaissance in England and beyond.
A reading packet will be circulated in advance of the meetings to attendees who register their interest by contacting either Fraser McIlwraith (fraser.mcilwraith.15@ucl.ac.uk) or Kate Kinley (catherine.kinley.19@ucl.ac.uk).
Registration is essential due to restrictions on numbers in FC 239, so please make sure to get in touch if you want to attend. All are welcome to join – the Reading Group has always been an informal occasion. We look forward to seeing as many people there as possible!
