UCL Early Modern Exchanges invites current UCL PhD students (at any stage of their programme) to attend a ‘talkgroup', with the aim of building a community of researchers in this area.
If you would like to present for up to ten minutes to the group about your own research that would be wonderful; talks should get to the heart of what your research question is and the archive/theoretical debates with which you are engaging. If you would just like to attend in order to listen, network, and commune, that’s fine too.
Some drinks/biscuits may be provided be provided, budget allowing, but please bring your own lunch. Please register to attend by 12th November, choosing the appropriate ticket type ('Present'/'Attend in-person'): https://eme-talkgroup.eventbrite.co.uk
We will be in touch with those who want to present to organise the schedule; depending on popularity and number of presenters volunteering we may organise further talkgroups.
This event is organised by the UCL Centre for Early Modern Exchanges, part of the UCL Institute of Advanced Studies
