About the Speakers
Edith Hall
Professor at Classics Department, King's College London
Her original specialism was ancient Greek literature, but she has been trying to reconcile her interests in Classics and in Labour History ever since the 1984-5 Miners' Strike.

His research interests are Roman poetry and drama and its reception in the modern world; Classical Reception Studies, especially with regard to social class and communism.
