UCL Academic Interactions With Industry

 Academic interactions with industry.

This mini-play will focus on a variety of different interactions academics have with industry i.e. the good and bad interactions that occur and how to ensure productive outcomes with the relevant PS support. A theatre session following the mini-play, will invite audiences to debate the issues they raise.

Duration: The 4 workshop sessions are identical events ie you only need to attend 1. Each will last one and a half hours and includes a 25 minute mini play.

Please note:

• That both the play, and the Forum session will be recorded and turned into a resource for training purposes at UCL. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to being filmed.

• As part of venue policy, we are now required to charge a small fee of £2. Any funds generated will be donated to charity.

Commissioned by the Academic Careers Office Click Here at UCL, the plays have been devised under the auspices of Forum Theatre Projects, a new formation led by Adrian Jackson, the founder and for 30 years artistic director of Cardboard Citizens, who was also the translator and frequent collaborator of Augusto Boal, the inventor of the Theatre of the Oppressed. Forum Theatre is a playfully serious and seriously playful space for an active debate of issues of importance, harnessing the power of theatre to rehearse meaningful change.
