You cannot submit a CV as part of your UCAS application, though there is space in the UCAS form to include much of the information that would usually be included in a CV, such as your educational background and previous employment. The personal statement is your opportunity to demonstrate how you would be a suitable candidate to study the subject you’re applying for. If you have experience working in areas relevant to the subject that you feel would make you a strong candidate then the personal statement is where you should mention them; but don’t just tell us what you’ve done, analyse what skills and experience you gained from that work and how that is relevant to the subject. You can also talk about the transferrable skills you gained that might not be subject-specific, such as communication skills or time management.
