I run a laboratory looking at how people interact with the environment. I specialise in Transport Engineering, but my work also explores Urban Design, Accessible Design and Transdisciplinary research methods.

I originally trained as a classical musician and spent about 10 years as a freelance. Then I worked in a number of jobs in industry, mainly in logistics. Then I took a Masters course in Transport Planning and Management before coming to UCL to do a research project on artificial intelligence and design of transport infrastructure. After a while I became Head of Department of Civil Engineering.
