I look at films, literature and music to think about how the Gothic has shaped popular culture over the past 250 years. I also study the power and perils of musical satire.

I studied journalism in Portugal and Belgium and Film Studies at UCL. I enjoy learning languages and have taught Portuguese language and culture at UCL for many years.
