I look at economic policy (rules) and performance (how well the economy is doing) in the Caribbean today, particularly in Cuba. I also coordinate a UCL-Cuba research collaboration network.

I have been a lecturer and researcher at University of Sussex, SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), and UCL. I have a degree in Economics, Masters in Political Economy and PhD in Economic History.
