My translation work and my research is focused on the Arabic language, but I have also taught linguistics in the past, which is not language-specific science.

I am a linguist (someone who specialises in language studies) and a translator. I teach translation and interpreting (oral translation) at UCL. I also work as a translator at the British Library.
