The Constitution Unit

FOI Resources

The Constitution Unit have been studying Freedom of Information and data protection for many years. We were at the forefront of research which brought the Act into creation and conducted many consultancy projects to prepare organisations.

Local Authority FOI and EIR Resources

The Local Government Association and IDeA have given the Constitution Unit the authority to host on this web page all material related to local government FOI and EIR issues that was previously found on their websites. We have also included Constitution Unit reports and documents found on other local government web sites that we think would be helpful to information rights practitioners.
