Tools and Quality Assurance
A questionnaire focused on data collection/data sharing processes and a quality assurance exercise consisting of 12 fictitious cases for Toronto Guidelines staging were generated and successfully completed by participating cancer registries.
The results were shared internally with the Project Working Group and later on, published as an article in Frontiers in Oncology as part of the Research Topic Joining Efforts to Improve Data Quality and Harmonization Among European Population-Based Cancer Registries.
