FACSAria III Cell Sorter

The FACSAria III is equipped with 4 lasers in the following configurations:

  • Violet (405 nm), can accommodate up to 7 colours.
  • Argon blue laser (488 nm) allowing 2 colours detection: FITC and PerCPCy5.5
  • Yellow/green laser (561 nm) allowing 5 colours detection
  • Red laser (647 nm) allowing 3 colours detection

FACSAriai III cell sorter can collect up to 4 cell populations of interest at 100% purity and at least 95% efficiency.

  • Opening hours: from 07:00 to 23:00 on week days but from 18:30 core hours cease along with most support services. On weekends ZCR is open between 09:00 and 21:00 and on bank holidays the opening hours are 09:00 to 14:00 with limited support services.
  • Staffed hours: 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Flow Club

  • Flow Club is open to anyone who engages in flow cytometry

  • Flow Club main goal is to support good experimental practice to all users by coming together, solving problems and sharing experiences

  • Sessions include technical talks by facilities' users, tutorials about new technologies and equipment, and invited speakers

  • ​Flow Club runs quaterly

Flow Clinic

  • Flow Clinic are workshops where users are welcome to bring their problem data to troubleshoot and clarify any issue with the help of facility's staff.

  • Flow Clinic runs ad hoc.
