Not only Cristina is excellent in her area of expertise – genomics and bioinformatics of herpes viruses – she is also a definite role model for adhering to a healthy life/work balance, reaching out to the careers-related courses offered by UCL, and providing an exemplary quality of supervision for Masters and PhD students. Cristina is a great colleague and a genuine role model for more junior researchers.
