On Thursday, 30 March, UCL organised the 2023 Technical Staff Showcase. The event encompasses technical staff from across UCL’s Faculties and Departments.
This was an exhibition to demonstrate the breadth and depth of the contributions that the technical staff at UCL make to research, teaching, and innovation. The main demonstrations took place in the North and South Cloisters, and a programme of talks in the Jeremy Bentham room.
The Department of Chemical Engineering had two separate displays on the day demonstrating the departments' work and capabilities. From the micro precision workshop and Nano 3D printing to a range of characterisation techniques including, TEM/SEM, SAXs and X-ray CT facilities housed in the department.“UCL Chemical Engineering Technical Operations Manager, Toby Neville, had this to say: "It was a really good event, we met lots of colleagues from across the university and have made contacts for future collaborations."
