PhD student Wenyao Lyu wins double poster prizes

Congratulations to Wenyao Lu, PhD student in the UCL Department of Chemical Engineering who won the first poster prize at the 6th Machine Learning and AI in (Bio)Chemical Engineering conference held in Cambridge on the 6th -7th of July, a prize awarded by the Reaction Chemistry & Engineering Journal.

Wenyao also won the second prize at the Model-based Design of Experiments Symposium held at the Sargent Centre for Process Systems Engineering (SCPSE) on the 23^rd of June.
 

Wenyao is working in the Galvanin System Identification Group on a new framework to automate kinetic model identification in reaction engineering applications using machine learning tools.
