Faraday Insitiution Undergraduate Internships

We are seeking STEM students who want to learn more about battery technology and energy storage to undertake an eight week paid internship with the Faraday Institution, the UK’s independent institute for electrochemical energy storage research and skills development. These virtual internships will enable undergraduate students to conduct research into diverse fields of battery technology, ranging from developing methods to better understand next generation Li-S batteries to aiding the improved understanding of the safety diagnostics which prolong cell lifetime.

There are approximately 50 positions available across 13 universities available to applicants with each supported by some of the UK’s leading academics. Within UCL Chemical Engineering we have two positions available based at the Electrochemical Innovation Lab although applicants are free to apply to any of the advertised positions shown on the Faraday Institution Summer Internships website.

If you have any questions please get in touch with Dr James Robinson.
