New S4CE Video - Nine technologies towards sustainable geo-energy operations
The sustainable management of sub-surface operations is essential to tackle climate change.

Science 4 Clean Energy (S4CE) is a research project funded by the European Commission #H2020 and coordinated by Prof. Alberto Striolo at the Department of Chemical Engineering at UCL. Researchers involved in the project have developed state-of-the-art technologies that have the common objective to positively affect the environment, the economy and the social perception of geo-energy-related operations.

S4CE is assessing the environmental footprint of such operations in the European Union, to continuously, reliably and cost-effectively monitor the environmental risks related to sub-surface geo-energy operations and to differentiate anthropogenic and natural sources of risks.
