Launch of new H2020 project C4U

An exciting new EU H2020 project called C4U has been launched for developing two promising solid-based CO2 capture technologies for the iron & steel industry for integration into Carbon Capture Utilisation (CCUS) industrial clusters. The project has received total funding of 13.85m Euro and will run from April 2020 until March 2024. UCL Chemical Engineering (Professor Haroun Mahgerefteh) is the coordinating organisation. The interdisciplinary consortium comprises 22 partners in Europe, Canada, China and the USA.
