UCL winners at the ChemEngDayUK 2018

On 27th -28th March, University of Leeds hosted ChemEngDayUK 2018. The annual conference brings together academics, industry partners and other guests, through a combination of plenary speakers, talks and poster sessions.
At the ChemEngDayUK 2018 Awards Ceremony, UCL Chemical Engineering showcased their research and won two prizes.
- Baldassarre Venezia (pictured right) – winner of Outstanding Flash Presentation titled "Aerobic Oxidation of Benzyl Alcohol in a Au-Pd/TiO2 Catalyst Slurry Reactor with Oxygen delivery via a Tubular Membrane” in the category "Process and Product Characterisation".
- Halan Mohamed (pictured centre) is winner of Prize for the Best Poster titled "Kidney Inspired Membranes with Superior Anti-fouling and Separation Properties" in the category "Influence of structure and components on product functionality".
The awards were given by the Head of School of Chemical and Process Engineering of the University of Leeds:Professor Elaine Martin (pictured left).
