Staff within the Department engage in a wide range of research fields and provide an excellent resource for consultancy services whether the requirement is for technology strategy or technology assessment, for advanced development of technologies or for expert witness. 

Our staff are actively encouraged to engagewith industry and government in this way to maintain the value and timeliness of our research.

The services offered by the members of the Department are open to all organisations from government bodies and global corporations, to public bodies and SMEs.

To further strengthen our engagement with industry and commerce, UCL has formalised its consultancy expertise under UCL Consultants Ltd. Their aim is to provide an efficient and responsive service, delivering to our clients the expert help they need to solve their critical technical problems.
