Evaluation and Optimisation of Muscle Imaging Biomarkers in Support of non-ambulant DMD Studies

Primary objective

To identify the involvement of different muscle groups with disease progression.

We will use muscle MRI to find out which muscle groups could provide the best markers for treatment response in non-ambulant DMD boys.

Secondary objectives

• to measure quantitative imaging changes in muscle over one year using skeletal muscle and dynamic breathing MRI
• to measure quantitative imaging changes in diaphragm movement with disease progression using dynamic diaphragm MRI
