This established paediatric and adult course is in its twelth year run by consultants from the UCL Institute of Child Health and the Queen Square Centre for Neuromuscular Diseases, Institute of Neurology, University College London.
This is a 2-day virtual clinical course on childhood and adult neuromuscular disorders and the theme this year is Neuromuscular diseases across the lifespan and will include neuropathy, including differentiating genetic and inflammatory neuropathies in childhood. We will also cover Dystrophies – to include respiratory management across NM disease e.g. Dystrophy and MND, gene therapies and neuropsychiatry. We will also have some SMA therapy updates and some talks on myopathies to include channelopathies, mitochondrial and metabolic diseases.
