This archive is hard to find. This metro station is on a connection line (between the green and grey lines). It is best to find the produkty on the corner of ul. Azovskaia and ul. Kakhovska, then proceed down this side of ul. Azovskaia until you find dom 17 - a large, brown brick building.

How to Register

You are greeted at the door by a guard. Request to work in the archive. You will be directed to the reading-room (3rd door on the right). After explaining your tema, you will be sent to the director's office (across the hall). Take this back to the reading room, where you will then complete the normal questionnaire forms and be provided with a propusk.

How to Order Material

Request an order form from Nadezhda Aleksandrovna. The average wait is 2-3 days. The maximum order is 6 dela.

Reading Room Practices, General Hints and Tips

This is the most relaxed archive in Moscow, possibly Russia! Photography is permitted, but one should ask before copying documents. There is no stolovaia in the archive, and no cafes nearby. However, there is a fridge in the cloakroom should you want to take lunch.
