We are a multidisciplinary clinical and translational research group dedicated to understanding pathophysiological mechanisms and improving outcomes in paediatric inherited cardiovascular disease. Our work is underpinned by deep clinical phenotyping combined with "omic" and bioinformatic techniques, in partnership with colleagues across UCL and internationally. Major areas of research include:
- Development of risk prediction models for childhood hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Novel biomarker discovery in childhood cardimoyopathies
- Natural history and clinical outcomes in childhood cardiomyopathies, aortopathies, inherited arrhythmia syndromes
- Aetiological investigations in sudden cardiac death in childhood
