Dr Sergio Quezada presents: The Battle Within: mobilising our immune system to fight cancer.  

This event is free to attend and open to all. Seating is based on a first come, first served basis. 

Lecture information

For more than 100 years scientist have attempted to use the immune system to control cancer. In the last 5 years, a number of high profiles clinical trials have finally demonstrated the validity of these approaches. In this talk we will discuss the science that led to these new therapies as well as the directions that this area of research is likely to take in the near future.
