Detecting cancer early enough for curative intervention, whilst avoiding over-treatment, is one of the most important challenges in cancer medicine. Consequently, early detection is a strategic priority for Cancer Research UK, which aims to drive forward a transformation in how and when cancer is detected. To accelerate progress, CRUK has invested in a number of early detection funding schemes.
The talks will be followed by informal networking between researchers of different disciplines, and CRUK staff, which we hope will stimulate discussion and research ideas.
Registration is free via Eventbrite.
